Done the chair and sword from the R2 hints but I cannot seem to figure out other crafting items!

If your not sure what to do go to the crafting house in the main town all the materials tools etc are in the chests inside!!

the refining process also counts as recipes. Remember to press R to see what you know so far. It takes some trial and error, that's for sure. I only played for an hour so far and I only made an axe. Once you get the hang of it and take some clues from those recipes they gave us you'll be able to find more...

I believe in the game there is supposed to be a mix of found/purchased recipes and discoverable recipes. what % of each I don't know. But getting more recipes for ideas will help us in figuring out how different things work.

I've played with other systems kind of like this. One example would be Minecraft, another is Don't Starve. Final Fantasy 11 and 14 before the remake. So far I'd place the difficulty in figuring out recipes as easier than Final Fantasy but harder than minecraft.. maybe close to don't starve.

all the molds for weapons that I've tried, take up a mold, chunk of coal, iron bars, and tongs. Same for metal sheet.
For a spear however you need a wooden pole, made at milling station with a rasp from the boards... I'll experiment more.

I can't even make an iron ingot lol
I put smelting tongs, iron ore, coal and ingot mould and nothing happens :(

tried loads of combinations but nothing works lol

ok so hovering over iron ore it says quantity 100, how do I split it into individual lumps of ore?

nm figured it out, hold shift and drag slider :p

Thus far I've managed a table (3 boards, 2 poles) and mug (wooden strip) from carpentry, and in blacksmithing beyond the lantern mold leading me to an iron lantern, I made some iron bindings from ingots, but have yet to find the use for them- either in blacksmithing or carpentry.

Discovery by combinations and permutations of ingredients.. is kinda tedious, and not entirely fun. I'd like to get some clues from other things. Like, from making the chair, a few more of the same would make a table.

There are quite a few recipes, im stumped at the moment on finishing Maces/Hammers. Got the heads made but have tried a lot of combos for the handles. But combined right around 55 or so recipes discovered. Takes a while but I like the system its not just a i got crap in my bag, bam hit a button done. Actually have to spend time to get the recipe, and figure it out on your own. Made a Podium that takes 11 wooden boards.

Yeah I like the whole invention part of it, but it is a little tedious. No pain no gain I guess :)

Crypto seems like those bindings could be used in carpentry for wardrobes/dressers and night stands!
