So I was trying to do some cooking and I have some "Bottles of Wine" but they no longer seem to work for cooking and in the recipe book I now see it is listed as "Wine (Red or White)". I am always trying to do my part and contribute to the http://sotawiki.net as well and no one has updated this yet on there either. What can anyone tell me?

Where can I get "Wine (Red or White)"?
What will it be called exactly?
    Is it purchasable and craftable?

    Thanks in advance,

If I understand correctly the recipes used to call for "Battle of Wine" which was purchased off NPCs. With the brewing update the recipes were changed to use "Wine (Red or White)" so that people could you the new NPC purchased wines that replaced "Bottle of Wine" or the new player crafted wines.

    From the R56 Release Notes:

Before brewing was added, the only option we had was NPC bought "bottles of wine" or those you could steal from the game world. Now that we can make our own wine though, they changed the recipes to use those we can make instead.

Now, the old "bottles of wine" are only useful for decoration pieces.

Okay great so is it "ONLY" crafted wine or can I purchase some somewhere? And if I can purchase some from an NPC, can you please tell me where?

    Thanks!

i THINK some bartenders have table wine. you'd have to try to make something with it (vinegar?) to see if it works.

    edit:

You can still buy the non-crafted versions (such as those that @Alley Oop quoted) but the cooking recipes will ONLY use the crafted wines now.

Wow! Things just got interesting. Will the stats increase for those food items to reflect the difficulty or are they the same? If they are the same I can see no reason to even make the items anymore as it won't be cost productive.

Those old bottles of wine were expensive.
Not worth much as deco, I am afraid.

They were expensive, I can sell them back (and did) for 10G. Where is your vendor? Just in case I feel like making up some recipes...

Sell them for 10G each to a vendor or stack them up and play 99 bottles of wine on the wall...

As far as I can tell, the stats have not increased. That's a great idea though! Also, we need alcohol buffs as soon as possible. They're expensive and time consuming to make and only give you the "drunk" effects for a short time.

No wine on the vendor right now - can put some if you give me an idea of how much you need
I can usually be reached during daytime NBT.

Make a 5 high bottle of wine fence?

Or write support and see if they will allow NPC buy back.
