Supply Bundles need some help

Back in January, I did a sampling of 250 supply bundles of each color (offline mode): https://goo.gl/Jv4qSn

In my experience, grey bundles have given out better loot than orange/blue bundles. I've gotten 3 oranges, all of which had <50g worth of stuff. Blue bundles aren't much better, occasionally get a "crapifact" but more often than not, just rubbish food. Super disappointing all around.

 

I have only gotten one orange and it was a bunch of nothing. I don't even bother with them anymore I sell all of them.

 

I like jokes so I enjoy getting an orange bundle and expecting it to have something better than grey ones. @kaeshiva

 

I have only ever got yellow and grey supply bundles but the bundle loot in the offline game seems to be much better than in the online game. I’m getting stuff in the offline game after a few weeks that I never got in 2 years online.

 

Opened one orange and my guildmate another. We didn t even get a recipe.

 

I have never seen an orange one drop yet. I got plenty of blues though, and about 33% of them have had an artifact.

Why don't bosses ever drop one? They should sometimes drop blue or orange, depending on difficulty.

 

My general experience with supply bundles

Grey
- Usually get some 5-10 items including:
food/maps/and maybe a recipe (1/10 chance?)

Yellow
- Usually get 5-10 items including:
potions, recipes (1/4 chance?), common artifacts (1/4 chance?), recycled crafting items, repair kits

Blue
- Usually get 10-15+items including:
potions, food, common artifacts, recipes, rarer recipes (troll lord belt etc), maybe a house deed, maybe a lot deed

Orange
- Get around 5 items including:
junk food, repair kits... In particular I have never seen a deed, artifact, recipe, or even a freaking gem
Admittedly I have only opened 6 orange bundles, but there should be a ZERO% chance that you open one of these and get pure garbage comparable to a grey bundle!

In my experience orange bundles are:

• far worse than blue bundles
  
• worse than most yellow bundles
  
• probably better than grey bundles???

 

Strange, i have never gotten any artifacts from yellows, but i do get more than 50% reciepes

I dont think we have enough of numbers to make a judgement on this tho.

 

There is a spreadsheet of 250 openings, basically showing Blue is on par with Orange, perhaps even better.

 

I have literally opened hundreds of grey/yellow bundles so I feel pretty confident about their contents

I have probably opened 50ish blue bundles and they seem fairly consistent

I have only opened 6 orange bundles so I cant really comment on what they "usually" contain but I can judge that the rarest bundle in the game should NEVER contain the kind of trash I have seen in the 6 I opened.

Your spreadsheet seems dead on with my experience in opening bundles except I suspect you made it before they added house deeds and lot deeds to blue bundles.

In particular you got about twice as many items out of blue bundles as you did any other types of bundle.
This makes it kind of exciting to open a blue bundle and see a long list of items (that sometimes actually includes good stuff)
By contrast orange bundles only have about as many items as grey/yellow bundles according to your data

Blue bundles also seemed more likely to have rarer artifacts (fleet flute, belt of the ox etc)
By contrast orange bundles seem to draw from a list very similar to yellow bundles

From your data it looks like orange bundles only contain the basic crappy potions (focus/health).
Not that potions are great loot but its kinda sad that orange bundles contain weaker potions than blue/yellow bundles

It was refreshing to see from your data that orange bundles can actually have recipes (although it looks like they are not any better for recipes than yellow/blue bundles)

Upshot: Orange bundles are in need of some love (Truthfully boss loot/itemization in general is in need of some attention and orange bundles are just another example of this.)

 

Based on your data

Orange bundles contain...
7% common artifacts (Ones you can also get in yellow bundles)
<1% rare artifacts (only in blue/orange bundles)
15% food (Not good food like dragon stew etc. Crappy food like bread)
0% gems (no gems ever)
10% scrolls (recall/teleport)
10% repair kits
43% potions (Not even "good" ones. Just the basic ones)
10% cheap misc (caltrops, smelling salts)
5% recipes

 

Odd, my wife and I get yellow bundles frequently in The Rise, and they often contain artifacts and/or recipes. Sometimes there is a long "drought" of neither, but that's just RNG.

 

uhh, maybe where you get the bundles from factors in? I HIGHLY doubt that but.. yeah..

I got ALL my yellows from Elysium Mines.
