For some reason after the patch today my Auto attack was disabled. I'm not saying it was the patch, it could easily have been me.

I spent the first hour wondering if my build had been severely nerfed and dying a lot, only to discover (with a bit of relief) that I wasn't swinging my sword at all between glyph presses.

I have done this many times before. The 'T' key (auto attack) is so critical to my build that when its off I am a different Avatar and it seems strange to me that the 'T' key is buried so deeply in options with no visual clues that its engaged or disengaged.

I would really appreciate it if the Devs could put something up for old forgetful souls like me :)

The sword in the middle of the combat bar is flashing/glowing red when auto-attack is enabled

I'd always assumed the red meant you were in combat mode.

Well, now we need a combat mode indicator!

Um... the combat bar is visible when you're in combat mode?

Unless you have it set to be visible at all times.

But either way, I'm not being serious.

Yea, I was going to post that too. It flashes red when AA is enabled, solid gray when disabled.

Also, when you change modes with the hotkey, you get a brief on-screen message stating whether you just enabled or disabled it.

This is not entirely correct. It depends on whether you have auto attack enabled (as in the keybind/command).

For those with auto attack turned on, when the weapons are drawn, it shows your abilities and the sword icon flashes red. This is combat mode.
Under this setup, there is no scenario where you will have weapons drawn and the sword is not flashing red.

For those with auto attack turned off, it is the same as above though the sword will be grey, not flashing.

Separate, you can tell when auto attack is active on a target when there is a crosshair icon beside the target's vitals, as you cannot auto attack a target that is not hard locked.
