Please Open A 24 Hour NPC-Mart!

Most towns that have a crafting pavilion have an NPC merchant that will buy your stuff 24/7. Most will also have crafting supplies if you need to buy them.

 

I've waited longer for my wife to get ready. I don't mind the realism. And there are no vikings in this game.

IF a 20 minute wait is too long, go to a POT. The NPC vendors are available there 100% of the time.

There are work arounds for what you might need to accomplish in the time that some "fake people" are not waiting for your avatar (like planning ahead or simply buying from NPCs in bulk). Think of it as forced role playing. There is no utopian sandbox game that suits every thing that everyone is looking for. You have to take some things you might not like as much. I don't like load screens. But I realize how it has helped achieve one server, without shards, and how it works well with expansion later and houses that can store much.

 

All you have to do is shop smart...shop S Mart!
