Silver and Gold scraps

- Make Gold Monkeys drop the gold scraps. (Also, give the Gold Monkeys a golden hue in their metal body)

- Make Silver Monkeys drop the silver scraps.

- When a masterwork fails, give silver scraps as a by product.

- When an enchant fails, give gold scraps as a by product.

- Have all mechanical mobs have a reasonable chance to drop silver and gold scraps in place of gold currency.

 

Also, let mobs in the areas these mined ores are have a chance of dropping the related scrap

 

Sounds reasonable for Kobolds and others who may be mining to drop such things, but it’s also reasonable to say farming these workers should cause a hit to your virtue as well.

 

I would add to give salvaging enchanted/masterworked items a chance for gold/silver scraps, especially now that player-created items are appearing in loot drops.

 

Also salvaging of gold and silver goblets for gold and silver scraps maybe.
