Does Lot Upgrade Give Dungeon Size Upgrade?

I upgraded my lot from a Village lot to a Town lot using the COTO upgrade option, but my dungeon limits are still associated with a village lot. Is this normal/intended - I was expecting a dungeon limit increase ? Do I need to tear down the dungeon and rebuild it (in this case I just transferred it over using Property Manager) ??

 

Might be wrong, but upgrading one's lot doesn't automatically increase your dungeon. I believe it just allows you to have the ability for a bigger dungeon.

 

Did we all start off with the same dungeon limit regardless of our in game lot size? I honestly don’t remember, but I didn’t think someone with a row house started off with the same dungeon limits as someone with a City sized lot.

 

Dungeon size is based off of lot size


As i understand you can move the same size lot on to same size lot aka Magic Mover.

BUT you can not move a village lot to a town lot via magic mover.

So i'm guessing you moved your dungeon from village lot to a town lot? and that would most likely be your cause.

So YES you would most likely have to start over to get the proper numbers.

 

I was afraid of that ☹️, and yes I did move it from the original Village lot to property manager and then from property manager into the Town lot.

I would hope that, as long as there's enough dungeon points, I could move a dungeon between different size lots.

 

Just to be clear, I WAS able to move the dungeon between lots. It’s just that I did not see the increase in available dungeon points which I had expected would have accompanied the lot upgrade.
