Darkstarr can be quoted as saying the last 20% is polish as well.

So we are just looking forward to the rest of the 20% :)
To do it exactly: Darkstarr often quoted Lord British with this statement, so we have to quote both ...

Anyway: we are really looking forward to the rest of the 20% :)

    Episode 2 reveals soon ...

Low hanging fruit still requires someone available to pluck it, and I imagine their limited resources are hard pressed as it is with work on the new area. Perhaps once that is done, at least for the most part, they can put expansion to the side for awhile and focus primarily on polish.

Once the functionality has been added to LUA, players can begin to offer varying UI options.

Players have all the time in the world to work on that.

I hear ya, but it seems to me like there's a fair amount of low hanging fruit in here: https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/f...-is-in-game-with-a-catch.161949/#post-1277974

And from having watched a number of Chris's streams, to be honest, the development style seems to be more of a Cool Thing approach (barring the Ep. II stuff). Or the frankly endless focus on balancing that comes with the territory of making an MMO. And I'm not having a dig, that's just the impression I get.

Plenty enough in that list, anyway.

Regarding the stream, I tend to agree with your assessment, though often wonder how much of the combat balancing is need based and how much inclination. There also seems more a trend on weakening what works extraordinarily well rather than shoring up what performs poorly.

I find it somewhat sapping to my enthusiasm and optimism for this game, making it somewhat of a retiree's garden to me, where I come to putter away my time when I'm in the mood rather than rush to with eager anticipation of my imminent adventures.

I like that the game isn’t polished. Makes it seem more of a indy game then one that had millions spent to build.
