Allow Secondary Materials to Drop on Meticulous Collection

    Meticulous is way better now that we get XP for it, but I'm greedy. I'd like to see things like tin and beetles dropping on meticulous collections as well. If we're stuck with an RNG crafting system that causes us to blow through gigantic quantities of materials to get even a modest chance at gear with the traits we want, at least make getting those thousands and thousands of required materials a tiny bit easier.

    I'm not 100% sure, but I believe do get a chance for the secondaries with meticulous collection - at least with mining. My suspicion is based on how much tin, tungsten and nickel I come home with after a night of mining. It's not a huge increase, but it certainly seems like more.

    If that were the case, then with two meticulous rounds you'd see something like:

    Copper (2)
    Copper
    Tin
    Copper

    Or:

    Copper (2)
    Tin
    Copper
    Copper
    Tin

    Instead of:

    Copper (2)
    Tin
    Copper
    Copper

    The items show up in the "order" that you get them. Hoppers and venom sacks can drop on meticulous, and you will see them get multiple lines in the loot window when they drop on meticulous. Similar with the refining skills that get you more refined materials, if you get an extra ingot it appears on a separate line, not combined with the first.

    i'm pretty sure (like 99%) sure that meticulous does NOT drop the rarer materials. i do a lot of mining and keep pretty close track. it's only on the initial harvest where you get tin/nickel/tungsted/beetles

    I'm also sure that meticulous does not drop the rare materials. I've been hunting Obisidan Animals and not once i got a second rare.
    And i am talking about hundreds of Animals, not tens :)

    I've never understood how Port rationalized using the word "meticulous" when all it has ever given is more of the most basic element.
    Meticulous should (by definition) mean more of the "rare" materials. - like tin, nickel, etc.

    I'm happy this conversation has been brought back up.
    Maybe they'll actually LISTEN this time.
