Title: Why are my npc pets following me everywhere?
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
Blocker? No, but annoying as *ell
    Details:
    - Several releases ago our npc pets began following us *everywhere* on our properties (including when we left the lot)
    - Eventually this improved a bit, but they still followed me everywhere on the lot.
    - It was so annoying, I took up all of my npc pets.
    - Some other players said that they thought it was fixed, so I put my npc pets back down again - but they still follow me everywhere on my lot.
    - I tried to see if this bug was still listed anyplace but couldn't find it - Alley, if you know where it is, let me know. ;)
Steps to Reproduce: Place a few npc pets on a lot and watch how they follow you.

Try changing them to "patrol". They most likely still have that old behavior of "Follow Close" active. I had to do that with my pests ... err ... pets after the patch that fixed them.

@Toular has it. picking them up and setting them down again WOULD have reset them to patrol, too, but they ALSO fixed a bug soon after that so pets would remember their state; so, for instance, if i dismiss my tamed wolf while she's set to aggressive, she'll still be on aggressive when i summon her again now.
