I have this copper coin that supposedly identifies me as a League of Skulls affiliate and it reads "Affiliation allows undercover Skull Sleepers to give out special missions. Am I missing something? Because the only thing that ever happens for me involving the League of Skulls is that I'm attacked whenever I enter Brittany Graveyard.

I don't think that particular quest arc got continued - I certainly never found another use for those things.

It's too bad. It really seems like it could be something fun.

@kaeshiva is correct. The League of Skulls and the Skull Clippers was a quest line started by the great @Puuk, but was unfortunately never finished after Portalarium laid him off. Very unfortunate because it was a very cool idea and new tie in to another faction within the game.

Damn, that's unfortunate. I just did league of Skulls quest in Blood Bay and was stoked to see how it plays out.

Looking at Puuk's last post, "All the little sub plots I weaved are connected, including the characters Naturamans, Esmeralda, the three creepy kids in Solace Bridge Outskirts, etc. Your actions and quest outcomes were being tracked (I had a spreadsheet of all the global variables I planted on your avatars to keep track of what you did and how you did it)."

Sounds like there is a lot of potential for some interesting little ways to feel the impacts of your decisions in the world. Would probably be a good question for Sannio in a live stream to see if he has any plans on doing anything further with the variables assigned to your avatar by these quests.

Might be better to try and get his attention here, this seems like a question that would be better answered in a conversation. @Sannio

There seems to be some difficulty getting complex questions answered in streams; often the question gets misunderstood, and there isn't much opportunity to clarify and get an accurate answer.

This is true. While the League of Skulls story wasn't a "main storyline," Puuk had plans and goals for them. He's no longer with the company, so those plans are on hold. It's unlikely that those plans will be expanded upon, since I'm our only quest designer right now and am focused on Episode 2 content with occasional sidetracks into one-off quests.

Assisting the League of Skulls will reward you with a unique coin. There’s no use for the coin yet (that I know of). But Sannio might add that one day.

You don't have to go to Blood Bay in order to get the coin.

I believe that's where the judge wig quest is.
