LETS SHOW THE DEV TEAM WE LOVE THEM

in my thought and talking to other people. we would really love it to see a statue of are lord brit and the dev team. and a nice plat to show there names. we would love it for us that come this far with you from the start and for new players to come.

Well, they have been seen wandering the lands in Release 3, raising a drink or two (or more, has anyone checked on DS lately? along with other adventurers in the game.

But I'll echo the nice work so far to the Devs. Keep up the great job!

 

Hmm, yes. As games go on and times and people change, it would be nice to see a statue of the devs somewhere. I like the idea of in some ruins somewhere, little or no description. Something that is passed on in the lore of the players. Realistically, it is unlikely every member of the dev team as it consist now, will be on the team for Episode 5. I hope they are, but it is unlikely. As such, statues somewhere! Good idea.

 

I agree, a statue for each Dev member but in different parts of the world. Perhaps a quest to get a special item once you visit all of the Dev shrines or something.

Where is the Burning Toad Constabulary ?​

Where is the One And Only Cross Dressing Boutique ?​

Where is the Rustic Dragon Cave of Wonders ?​

And so on.

(Come to think of it, we haven't seen the whole world, maybe those places *do* exist. )

 

I agree, I hope somewhere in game a hidden area or quest will lead to a Dev statue or shrine. What great lore or something only the Royal Founders know that could pass down to Founders, Benefactors and those that come after. Yes, I am not a Royal Founder, but why not give them something that will bring us all together once game is released.

 

Not the best time to suggest this, since for open PvP advocates, love for the devs is at pretty low ebb just now.

Love the devs and this idea is good. Let's wait and see it in ep 2. I would like ep 1 to ship on time this October 2014.

 

The way to do this is if people in the community made the assets and submitted for no bounty. So for instance hairy man could do a statue of a dev. Just a thought. I have no skills in that area so cant assist

Well, it was pretty easy to creep on people this testing round, with only three maps, and an instance-wide chat-log.

These are game developers...trying to fill millions of square miles of virtual real estate with tens of thousands of NPCs. They'll be using all their names, their friends names, their relatives' names, random names from the phone book...everything they can think of. They'll be on statues, tombstones, shops, hidden in the scenery where no one else can find...
