[Resolved 69831] Hire a Boat in Harvest quest suddenly updates to Convince Knight in Estgard

    Title: Hire a Boat in Harvest quest suddenly updates to Convince Knight in Estgard

    Details: With a new created character, enter the Battle of Highvale, get the amulet from Gawain and give it to Brigid in Resolute and receive the Hire a Boat at Harvest quest. When you have the Hire a Boat at Harvest quest it will suddenly update to Convince Knight in Estgard if you click the overland boat at Harvest and click the Ferry to Estgard.
    Steps to Reproduce:

    @Anpu , if I recall correctly the advancing of your quest is intentional. The expected quest progress was to "Hire a Boat in Harvest," then when sent to Estgard you'd talk to a gate guard and ask for entrance. However, some players skipped hiring the boat and went instead to the overworld boat from Harvest to Estgard. The "Convince Knight in Estgard" task from using the overworld boat is an alternate path into Estgard to help ensure all players end up talking to the Estgard hard guards. If you continue following your quest task, do you return to the expected progress path?

    Ok totally get what you are saying. I’ll check when I get home that I can continue the quest by going to Estgard and speaking to them.

    Consider this resolved. You can complete Convince Knight in Estgard by speaking to a Guard in Estgard, and getting the next step, Free Sir Patric quest.
