I just happened to login and see a LFG for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known.

 

No, but it was announced in Universal many times. Next time they should advise the forums as well. Technically this was guild meeting, but the OOC guild meetings are open to anyone.

 

I was late there, too. I could teleport to friend to get to Ordinis Mortis - but then had no idea which building the guild hall was until I was invited into a party which showed me my party members position on th 3rd floor of the guild hall.

 

I never, ever was any advance advertisement of this event and I play this game and visit the forums 7 days a week.

too bad it was kept a secret outside of the game. And not even in the official SotA forums a few days before.

 

I actually said internally after the event that it should have been announced on the forums. It did not even cross my mind to say anything because I was not organizing it. There are many of us old players visiting the OOC discord every so often, so I did not think twice about it. I figured those folks would pass the word to their own guilds. Next time I will. Sorry for not thinking about it.

Attention: I want to make a clear public statement. I usually avoid the Forums due to all the drama here and this is an example. I had a guild member remind me that it had been 10 years since Shroud of the Avatar did their Kick Starter. I thought I would honor the journey by asking Lord British to share at a guild meeting. It was a simple request and just meant to be a small event. I NEVER spoke to any of the Developers, such as Atos. Our guild meetings are always open to visitors and a zealist member decided to share on universal chat, which was never my intention. The meeting was announced a few times at our guild meetings the weeks prior. We often have guest speakers, some are Dev and some are players. This was no different. Anyone trying to create an issue about a guild meeting should look to themselves as a source of the problems.

I don't think anyone is trying to make an issue out of it. I think they just wanted the opportunity to listen in. I apologize if showing up to your guild meeting was not welcome.

It was not you at all!! I have had people contacting me and there are a lot of people angry that we invited him and did not invite everyone. I never felt an issue with you.
