Does anyone know what the drop rate is on this item? I have spent over 8 hours in the Tartarus maze and have not gotten a single one; lots of other bandit gear though.

Is there any reason that it is "Leather Bandit Chest Armour" instead of Bandit Leather Chest Armour? Are there really Leather Bandits that are aptly named like the Leather Godesses of Phobos?
Well, at least I now know to concentrate my efforts on the Satyr Elite Guards. How is it "common" if it's so rare? [edit] BTW, what's the difference between Leather Bandit Gloves and Leather Bandity Gloves?
I believe it drops from any/only melee satyrs there, though likely more from the elites. If'n you didn't already know that. Probably that refers to the rarity in terms of quality of that particular drop, and not the frequency. Like common/uncommon/rare/legendary/epic. Unless you were making a joke involving the frequency (or lack thereof) of a "common" item dropping.
@Tirrag Is the Artifact Survey showing the last 30 days, or are the numbers totaled from back when the survey was started ?
Why do Satyr creatures, occupy and run around a maze like area in the depths of Tartarus, and for unknown reasons carry various Bandit Armor pieces?
I got one from a Satyr Elite Guard in offline mode (much easier to get artifacts in offline) and crafted this bow: It's a longbow because I still haven't found the rock maple crossbow stock recipe.
Maybe my RNG was bad, but man did I grind the maze when the Bandit set was any good. I think I have like 30 bandit chests storaged, they're just "there" after they were made almost worthless.
They are a tiny bit slower and they have a tiny bit less strength bonus but the material bonus for critical damage more than makes up for it.
With a longbow, I can get an extra 5 dex, 5% rapid fire damage and 7.5% attack speed. With a crossbow, I can get an extra 10% critical damage. I still think the critical damage wins.
I was agreeing! I meant that in addition to the critical damage, they also offer better range than long bows.
