[Fixed 71382] Vermillion Shard not Spawning on Ancient Corpse

    2.Yes, reproducible.

    4.Details- On the quest to get the vermillion shard and recipe for the Lens. I made it to the Ancient Corpse in the Southeastern Tower basement near the Collossus. There's nothing in the room besides that skeleton, a note, and a pedestal with red carpet draped over it. I loot the corpse as per the wiki, and receive the Recipe to make the lens but i do not get the first shard to progress the quest. I have exhausted all dialog options with the quest giver (Oracle).
    5. Only need to enter the Scene and Sutheast tower to go to the corpse and not receive the Shard.
    6.SPECS- 16 GB DDR4-SDRAM
    i7-9750H 2.6 GHz (12 Threads)
    NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti with 6GB GDDR6
    Windows 10 64-bit

    yeah, same issue happened to me today too. looted the skeleton corpse at the end of the grannus oracle zone, got the recipe for vermillion shard, but no shards to be found. even when filtering my inventory, nothing would come up:/

    I was not in a group. Although, Vesper had logged on to assist at one point and tried to trigger the quest a few times while in a group, but no luck.

    Thanks for the report. Issue #71382

    I recently updated the logic which allows acquisition of the Vermillion Shards. Looks like I did an epic fail with two of them. I'll have the change backed out.
