1. We have a dedicated Player Test Environment on our QA server available for player use. This server will be kept open with periodic database resets, when we will copy the database from the live server. The server database will be updated at least twice a month during a scheduled maintenance window.

Though players are welcome to use the QA server to experiment or test anything they wish, we will post patch notes and testing directives in this area. Players testing new content, features and systems will greatly help in reducing post release bugs and making the game better.

To assist players in helping us make the game better, the Test Server will award login bonuses in CotOs and Gold coins to allow players to purchase resources or anything they may need to test from the Crown Store and/or from the in game vendors. In Addition, the Developers will announce dates/times when Dev Assisted Player Test Events will occur on the QA Server.

Please use the Test Environment Bug and Feedback forums for QA Server activities only.

You can help test by downloading a new SotA Launcher(QA) installer to download a separate QA copy of the game. It exists independently from the regular live version of the game and installs to a separate folder. To use the Player Test Environment, please download the QA Server client here:

A new scene called Port Harmony Cistern will soon be accessible from Port Harmony. It'll be accessible to all players with Episode 2 access, as long you have completed two specific Port Harmony quests first. Here are the details for those who want to test it our on the QA server.
    • QA build 1529 will have the update required for this test.
    • Your main NPC contact is Annora Jenkins the watersmith. She's in Port Harmony by the marketplace.
    • This is Jenkins's third quest. The first has her asking you to relive pressure from a valve inside the jail walls. In the second, she asks you to relieve pressure from 3 or 4 other valves around the city. You have to wait about an hour after finishing her second quest before you can pick up this new quest.
    • Once you're eligible to start the quest, say "sabotage" to Jenkins and choose the first or second response. You'll unlock the Cistern Access Hatch right away and be sent into the Port Harmony Cistern.
    • If you somehow get into the Port Harmony Cistern without talking to Jenkins to start the quest, look for her inside the Cistern. If she's there, you can skip the first step and say "sabotage" to her in this location to start the quest.
There are two hatches in Port Harmony that lead into the Port Harmony Cistern. Both are "stuck" and inaccessible by default. Once you start the quest, you've unlocked the "entrance" Cistern Access Hatch forever for that character. After you finish Jenkins's Cistern quest, you'll unlock the "exit" Cistern Access Hatch forever.

Without getting too specific (don't want to give away too many spoilers!), here's the general flow of the dungeon:
    • Entrance. Jenkins spawns here as long as there's at least one other player in the area that hasn't finished her Cistern quest. Some doors and objects require a key.
    • Cavern #1. Includes a special puzzle.
    • Tunnels and rooms. Enemies roam the halls. Some doors and objects require a key.
    • Cavern #2. Includes a virtually identical puzzle to the one in Cavern #1.
    • Tunnels and rooms. Enemies roam the halls. Some doors and objects require a key.
    • Wave battle room. Beat up some bad guys!
    • Exit tunnels. If you finished the wave battle, some extra treasure/rewards are here. Also, a quick path to the exit or back to Jenkins.
Please keep an eye out for anything that seems clearly broken, typos in the conversations and ambient "barks" that the NPCs shout out.

I knot this will be hard, but when giving feedback and reporting bugs try to put any spoilers for the scene in
    [ spoiler ][ /spoiler ] tags when possible.

We're aware of some small issues and I've already submitted fixes for them.

The only troublesome issue is you will probably get an error when you try to complete the quest with the Jenkins that's inside the Cistern, but you should be able to finish the quest with the Jenkins that's in the Port Harmony marketplace.
