Wanted to login for a moment, but have been out long enough I had to get the "starting from 0" update file. SotA told me I lacked space. I was able to clear out enough to get it to run, but I vaguely recall that it saves old patch updates in a folder somewhere. But I don't recall where that was if true, and couldn't find it when I went looking.
Followup while I await the download- do you get emails from the Tax Authority when tax-free lots are about to expire due to lack of logins? (Though looking through discarded mail, it appears I logged in back in July, so I'm probably okay.)
Eep, I thought I had six months; turns out I had four. (Also, I guess you don't get warnings on Tax Free lots. Or maybe I missed them; that's entirely possible.) The main location I was worried about was still unclaimed, so I got that back. Two others had been reserved for me by the gov (and were in the middle of nowhere anyway) so I got those back. Lost one decent row lot, but had the one right next to it, so I was able to swap it for the property I preferred to have there, and moved the original. No big loss. Also grabbed another row lot with a taxed deed and paid it for 120 days, so I should in theory get emails when all of the are set to expire, should I not return in the meantime.
With homes now defaulting to the property manager getting set backup is less of a road block too, welcome back!
Not actually back yet. Just wanted to prevent my lots from expiring, which I had mostly failed at. I'll likely not be back until ep2 is finished, or close to it. (Which is why I wanted to keep my spots.)
