[Responded] Error During Update

    I double-clicked on the launcher on my Win 10 desktop to play the game. It started updating the game. It finished with one update and then started with another; I can't remember the numbers of the updates but it was from today. Before the update finished (or immediately after it updated and tried to launch) an error message popped up: Error During Update - Sorry can't find game to launch! There are 2 buttons on the error dialog: 'Force Launch', and 'Retry'. Clicking on Force Launch does nothing. Clicking on Retry takes me to the screen with the 'Play' button on it. Clicking on Play just brings up that error message again.

    Looking in the "...\AppData\Local\Programs\Portalarium\Shroud of the Avatar\Downloads" folder I can see the updates were #1694 and #1695.

    @Hermetic, since no one else is having a problem, this is something local to your machine. the first thing i'd check is disk space on the drive the that download folder is on.

    whatever the cause was, though, you will probably have to reinstall.
