Personal request (in search of a new home)

Title may seem self-explanatory, but I feel it sorta needs a bit more explanation: I've been trying to set up my music shop in various locations over the years - but was never able to find a place that 100% worked for me. So I need a bit of input / help from y'all.

1/ PoT or NPC or PRT is not important to me. My deed is PA TF so I can go wherever;
2/ I'd like to unpack my piano and vendor somewhere and never move again (ideally somewhere that makes sense, because I remain a roleplayer, and stuff needs to make sense – I don't know if I'm phrasing this in an understandable way) – so the community knows where to find me once and for all;
3/ I can step away from the game for several months in a row, as some of y'all may have noticed (like I haven't been able to play from JAN to MAY 2023 because I left the U.S. to relocate to Europe, then haven't been able to play since July because three beings close to me passed away in a row... 2023 sucks big time for me) – so I can't deal with situations where I have to pack+unpack the shop on a regular basis (like biome switching, town layer updating, etc);
4/ I currently have a spot in Ardoris but it doesn't feel right.

I'm not sure all of this makes total sense because I feel like I'm not phrasing any of it right – but I don't want the post to be too long. Feel free to ask *constructive* questions.

What I'd love to get from you guys is your input about where it would make sense / be best to set up shop, having only to maintain my vendor for music sheets and not worry about anything else.

I don't know exactly what you are looking for. But, Crossroads and Crossroads Alleys have some nice spot. If you find a spot that doesn't have a lot, I should be able to place a lot for you. Also, there are no biome or layout changes on the horizon.

However, there are a lot of nice biomes and player towns out there.

 

You already have a palapa on the beach here in M'hul. You're always welcome to expand here!

 

For live concerts. My shop is not set up the same way:


I designed it to be able to showcase music sheets for various instruments, for people to try out before they purchase them when I'm not present. Also to be able to actually have people in the shop and interact with them (did that several times and had a blast every single time). Not sure it would fit in a fishing town :s (I mean no offense, you know how much I love your island!)

 

I was lurking there this morning and while they're both very nice places, neither of them feel 'right'. I really don't know how to explain it... They're lovely and obviously planned very efficiently, I can't put words on what's missing.

I would take a look at Wizards Rest, also home of the School of Rock.

 

A place in PaxLair would be available if you desire it.

 

Snug Harbor ... Plenty of space and a quaint environment. Pick an empty lot or find a spot that makes you feel at home.

 

I set up an Extra Life Outpost in Lightbringer Isle and that place is HUGE with a number of themed locations and more teleporters than I have seen anyplace else.
But there are so many nice places it is hard to decide where to go next. So many active governers also and all of them are more than willing to customize locations for players.

I think I am the biggest culprit for the reason for this thread.
Have you looked at Lightbringer Isle? @Koimiko and @Hemnu Lightbringer are wonderful governors and their island is beautiful, and has very role-playing corners, like the pirate area. And they are always hosting events, so there is a constant flow of players.

Careful, there has always been noise complaints and reports of people acting rather peculiar in this area.

Extra Life currently has outposts in Mysteria, Silverdale, Arlia, Immortal City, Crossroads, Knight's Watch, Lightbringer Isle, Jamestown, Haven Ridge, Brittany Alleys, Braemar and Blood Bay. I got lucky and recieved a tax free pot row at Christmas so one of my alts has an open row deed but trying to figure out where to use it is an impossible task
