Dear Developers, it's 2024 and it's been a long time since we arrived in New Britannia and solved all the Story 1 puzzles... The last words of Arabella are remembered - and we are eagerly waiting for the sequel - part 2. In the meantime, really beautiful places and some nice quests have been added in Mistrendur. Can you tell us a little more specifically how many locations still need to be implemented and when we can finally expect the continuation of the main story? That would be really nice Is it realistic that we can play main story part 2 this year? Thank you for a feedback, may be after Next Release 123 on livestream!
Yeah, episode one was really fun and I would very much appreciate some information about episode two.
I've been avoiding Episode 2 for the most part. I want to be surprised, explore the new continent and go through the story without knowing where everything is
I don't know how you could craft a sequel to such a masterworks as "hunt the 3 macguffins" and "hunt the 8 macguffins".
Whoa, you're giving me goosebumps, are you one of the devs? Would you go so far as to have around half of the macguffins be end of linear paths that have monsters at around half my level and the other half be at the end of linear paths that have monsters at twice my level Honestly, I'd be happy as long as they leave out the obligatory child murder, no need to try to impress sempai now.
There is no obligatory child murder. You can do it, but its your choice. But I would like to see children flagged as invulnerable, because I killed an Elf child (sidequest) accidentally. A confirm button for neutral NPCs would be great.
That is human tactical control of the battlefield. Dismiss e.g. Immolation before entering the elven cave in Crooked Shank where the same happened to me.
I couldn't compete the main mission without flattening a bunch of children. I'm pretty sure that there was no option not to kill those children if I wanted to complete the dungeon and get one of the three macguffins. If they've changed that since sempai has left, cool. We are talking about the same place, right? The kids in the sex dungeon?
There was always a way to not kill them but it was easy to miss. They used to be killed when you stepped on a pressure plate. This area has since been changed so you have to push one of two buttons and depending which you push they are saved or killed.
Ah, I went through that area back during the pressure plate era. I'm pretty sure I never even saw the pressure plate. It's an RG game, I thought the child murder for no particular payout was just par for the course.
There has never been any child murder szene in RG´s games - they were either no childs but demons or it could be avoided to kill them. The szene in Sota can be avoided if you read the plagues before stepping to close to the cage.
The ol' "she may look 12, but she is actually a 2,000 year old dragon in human form" defense, a Japanese classic. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure I never intentionally stepped on a plate, or more likely I nicked the plate with the wonky jump physics while trying to reach the exit. Once again, it's RG's kink to make you kill kids, so I figured it was forced.
