This does not occur each time a spider is killed but does occur several times per hour of grinding. Both Shadow and normal spiders have this issue. NOT a big deal with the non-shadow spiders, but it is a real pain when you spend minutes killing the shadow spiders only to have them pop before they are looted.

Not a huge deal but really needs to be fixed at some point. It is really frustrating.

    Thanks,

This has happened to me, as well. I'm a lone player in party match mode. I got my first shadow spider the other night. The loot window opens, and the top item is aether orb. Before I could click, "Take all", Poof!, it's gone. I've killed a dozen or so more of those spiders, and the loot window has stayed open. No aether orbs, though. I've also had the odd T11 Ferocious spider disappear before I could skin it. Spindleskog Normal.

I've had this happen some more to me, and have observed it with mob kills amongst each other. These have happened in Spindelskog and Tanglemire. I think some cases are because the mob is at or near it's leash point when it dies. I first thought this as I observed an elder timber wolf go after a noble stag in Tanglemire. The wolf chased the stag for quite a distance from it's spawn area. The stag killed it and the wolf immediately disappeared. I've observed this wolf/stag several times during different visits to Tanglemire. While playing Tanglemire the other day, I had both a massive crocodile and a ferocious timber wolf disappear on me. In both cases, the mobs were some distance from their spawn area.

Do you actually use the mouse to click the "Take all" button? Because if so, perhaps simply pressing E twice is easier (first pressing E when aiming at the body to open the loot and second time pressing E to immediately take all loot).

Mouse, though I've been trying to use "E" more. Old habits die hard.

Again, some of these may be due to leashing limits. An easy way to test in Spindelskog is to pull a mob to the scene difficulty markers near the entrance. That seems to be the leash point. Kill it and see if it disappears. An interesting thing I've noticed also, is if you have two mobs. Kill one at that point and have the other leash, the one that leashed will disappear as well.

You can also watch mob only interaction in Tanglemire, with the wolves and deer on the other side of the trees from the entrance path-- where the two cotton bushes and one pine tree are located. One wolf spawn in particular will chase a deer a long way in battle. It will disappear when killed.

I've had my suspicion that this can happen when a corpse clips through the ground and falls bellow the map as well. Not sure if that may be a helpful lead.

Another twist is that the massive crocodiles in the southeast corner of Tanglemire will disappear after losing aggro after killing a water elemental. They almost immediately respawn at their spawn point. This is in addition to when I kill them there.
