Greetings! Are any other Steam-based players having trouble logging into SOTA on 3 March 2024 after Release 123 Patch 1? SOTA's log in screen is displaying a message for me that a newer version of the game is needed to play. However, Steam has not been pushing an update. I've attempted to login a few times over the past four hours, restarting Steam each time, but still no luck. Did Steam not receive the Patch 1 update or is there something else I'm missing? Posts here indicate that Patch 1 was pushed on 2 March, but Steam says its last SOTA update is dated 29 February. I'm curious if anyone else has tangled with and resolved this log in issue. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
Funny, this resolved itself shortly after I posted the inquiry above. I did run the Steam verification process on SOTA files, which is when I saw it doing the latest patch update. Not sure if that was coincidental.
More than likely the verification process corrected a corrupted file from when Steam updated your client to Patch1.
