I really feel that the Astrolabe should be socketable, enchantable and have the same durability as a necklace.
i don't think socketable makes sense: two whole attunement gems already go into making it. if it WERE enchantable with jewel-specific enchantments, it would have to be limited to those two possibility groups. we don't have tech for that, or for making it socketable but only with jewels that aren't attunement jewels. capable of taking non-jewel enchantments and having the same durability as a crafted necklace sound reasonable, though. i'll have to look at it. i THINK allowing enchantment won't intefere with not making them socketable but i am not sure.
