Invent quests for others to do? I'm hoping for something similar to use in Role Playing. RG might have mentioned giving us the tools to make this possible to some extent.
I want to be able to ask to another player ... Go get 100 Ulysse Flowers. or... go kill that guy .. or go get me 100000 logs... And... I will be able to give rewards. Some ... Quest Panel between player... like the trade panel but more extended. And... Players can reclaim is reward from the mail post or direct from the player (better that option)
The new Wizards of the Coast game Neverwinter Nights has a content creation system, players can create quests/dungeons or something.
Yea, think its been discussed before but in a more limited fashion. Maybe at next Dev chat you could bring it up.
There's been content creation in NWN since the second game, mind you I was never skilled enough to do anything with it, but I recall the option being there regardless. You essentially created your own "Module" which was an entire D&D 3.5 adventure, using the game's engine... though you weren't ever given full dev tools. The same thing could be done in SotA to a larger extent (NWN 2 was made in 2006), where modules are created by players using the game's engine, and a simplified user interface, allowing them to create adventures. They'd create NPC's, landscapes... maybe even put in an option for integrating voice over, which has the potential for awesomeness and hilariousness all in one.
