Hello again, been a while.

Playing R6 I can't help but notice that there is an immense amount of large player homes/castles all over the place, including all around the small villages spread across the map. I know that we can test most housing types without actually having pledged that level so far, but I'm curious if we are going to have similar numbers in release, or if they will be more rare.

I for one find it a little distracting to have what is supposed to be a small forest hamlet dotted with giant castles all over the place, but that might just be my taste.

Im curious what everyone elses' thoughts are on this. Discuss!

 

Don't forget the current area, the hidden isle, is less than the size of a jigsaw piece on the main map.

So in the real game, when all those main map places become available, it won't be as crowded.

Also I don't think they're restricting what house types players can place just yet either, based on pledge, although I could be wrong.

 

You are correct, there is no restriction at the moment. Anyone can place any house they want.

 

And the rule of thumb is the bigger the better.

 

The rule of thumb thing comes from how a thick a rod could be to beat your wife legally with, it's kind of a sketchy phrase lol

Actually I just checked wikipedia and it doesn't say anything about that so maybe whoever told me that was pulling the wool over my eyes...

Everyone wants the big shinys! It is a little weird to see though. Too many 'Knight houses' around. We need more hovels.
