I have a intel 3570k processor 8gbs of ram, i can over clock it to 4.5 if need be. You think that will be enough to play this game. I can play skyrim on medium, path of exile on high, civ 5 on high, thats all i can think of off my head. I am 100 percent going to pledge if you guys think i can run it?

What's your gpu? I can play Skyrim on High at 2560x1600 @ 60fps, but in these early releases I usually get anywhere from 5-30 fps depending on the scene (these pre-alpha releases are not yet optimized in any major way).

GPU = Video Card. If you run windows, look under computer > device settings > display adapter and see what it says. But if you are playing Skyrim on medium, my guess is that that you should be able to run the pre-alpha here too.

Ok, so if you're only using the onboard Intel HD 4000 that comes with the 3570k, you should be able to play it at the Fastest quality setting (at perhaps lower resolutions), and likely with low frame rates currently (until everything is optimized). Low as in maybe 10-15 fps at best. There are other players here that are playing on notebooks with just the Intel HD 3000 or 4000, but your performance may vary.

No, you're computer will not play this. However it will probably run it so that you can play it. :D

    Had to do it.

Well, this game must be pretty well optimized, it works fine for me with no graphics card. Its more optimized then dark fall anyways. I bought a 5870 though, just in case lol. I am confident that will def run it on max.

The Intel HD graphics actually aren't bad. I played a few games on my Ivy Bridge i5 without a graphics card when my old Radeon died.

What frame rates were you getting (resolution, quality level)? You can type /fps in the chat window in the game to show this.

The game seems to be very CPU heavy while being lite on the GPU. My OCed 4770K uses 65-74% ( all 8 threads ) while my GPU (ATI 7950) is only being utilized at about 35% using max settings.
