What I like most about Shroud of the Avatar is the unexpected random adventure.

This well furnished Wizard Tower was designed to keep people out of the 2nd floor. Which made it all the more attractive to get into. It's also a good case study for why houses need a more robust permissions system that keeps the riff raff out.

Due to copyright laws I was forced to change the origianl music playing in the background, "Heartache Tonight" by the Eagles; which at the time it seemed apropo. Big thanks to Shroud of the Avatar Radio for knowing that I would be breaking into someone's home at that precise moment in time. :)

P.S. Falling damage for walking off the top, 6 points. We should probably fix that. ;)

Lol. I did something similar in my row house to keep people on the first floor. Although, mine was impenetrable. ;)

Note to self, find Koldar's R11 Row House. :)

I'll give you the location if I manage to claim one. You're welcome to try to prove me wrong...but don't waste too much time. :D

    Two things:

    1. Loved the shutting of the door before the break-in began.
    2. The small jig upon turning on the music

I also saw this house, but didn't pursue a break-in at the time.
Upon seeing your video though, it makes me think he should have hung a sign that read "Under Construction: Nothing to see beyond this point." Since the upstairs was unfurnished hehe.

They should allow us to drop things in people's houses (but not move or take anything). You could have left a nice surprise for the owner. :)

They did talk about having "public" chests so that you can leave items for guests and they can leave suprises for you.

But that was during a deep dive I think so they might need a reminder...

Having a public and private chest (mailboxes) would just be a good idea in general. Then Portalarium could send things to "all home owners" more easily. Like changes in home owner policy, tax notices, a house warming gift, etc...

Yes and vocal passwords / item keys on doors and chests, one-way chests and grab-bag style (one random item) chests.

I'd like to place a Chest Mimic in my house... for snoopers.

The news about renting and "permission areas" has me wondering if we'll even be able to walk around in most houses at launch? I hope we hear more about this functionality soon.

    *Necro spell*

@Koldar - I visited your house in Ardoris. There wasn't any security!

... and I put some chilli spices into your hot tub.

    :D

Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed... :p I will show you why as soon as my video has uploaded!

R10 it was impenetrable. I had a couple walls strategically placed. R11 it has been wide open - I've been crashing too much in Ardoris to try to secure it.
