Hey guys, I was a huge fan of UO, played for over 10 years and have always wanted a successor, spiratual or otherwise, to UO.

I am obviously considering playing this game, but I would like to know if the combat system is "aiming based" meaning, for any ranged combat you have to aim, or is it like WoW, UO, etc where your arrow, spell, etc hits or doesnt hit the target you were tabbed on to?

I'm sure this has been answered, but ive been searching the forums and couldnt find a definitive answer on it, i read that its both, your choice of either aiming or tabbed combat.

Can someone clear it up for me?

Oh and when will the game be released to the public?

    Thanks guys.

    Welcome to the community!

There is no official release date currently, but I'm guessing we're looking at a Q1 beta release, and a Q2 2015 official release.

I'll add your aiming question to my FAQ.

If you start with the $20 Alienware bonus, then you can't list someone as a referral. Someone was saddened to learn that this past week I saw on the forums, but it is the cheaper route.

The other option is spending $45 up front (and you can list someone as a referral) and then use the $20 credit after that. You'll end up with a higher tier and get more rewards in game.
