R13 /Early access wipe?

Hi, does anyone know if there will be another server wipe after this release or if we are good to build out our chars and skills?

It has not been officially stated.

However my suspicions would lean towards a wipe for R13.

 

I have to agree with Duke. The had planned a R12 wipe because of the pledge rewards and bank changes, so it is likely that they will wipe this time as well. However they also mentioned that they wee going to try for backwards compatibility when needing database changes, the main reason for wipes to begin with. So it may be that a wipe isn't needed. To be honest I doubt that the devs know right now whether a wipe will be needed. They probably won't know until the freeze code and system changes the Friday or so before the next release window they usually spend the week before the release with a frozen codebase where their time is just spent fixing bugs and not adding more changes. Since they are still adding to their systems, ie pre-alpha, their is a high probability that the next release, and possibly all releases during this phase, will involve wipes.

 

I expect more wipes to come. So I am not getting to comfy with my pixels just yet.

hope for no wipes lol,but will give me a chance to try other specs out,although i could re spec i suppose,either way its early stages so no worries

 

R14 is in a couple of weeks, perhaps you meant that one

R14 is tying in Pledge Rewards and it has been suggested there will be a wipe for R14.
