    Hey, I used to run many forums using phpbb but I've moved away from it and now uses xenforo, though what kind of help do you need? :p

    Im working on my own site, but alas... don't really plan on making a forum.

    Mainly making a good (and pretty!) database for people to search through (crafting etc), and an App also.

    Feel free to msg me if you got ideas or wish to help. It is semi frustrating not having proper API to work with though :p

    Sounds cool and useful. There are a number of projects kicking around in the community which have some overlap to this. I don't know how much overlap exactly since a database could hold any / all info about the game.

    Sotawiki is doing a lot for collating all in-game info, including crafting, but I have no idea how well that works on say a phone / tablet (thinking along the lines of apps).

    I believe there is also a map project on sotawiki, that sorta thing would be great for an app too (perhaps zero overlap here, just throwing it out).

    SotaX, by Kadumel, will mingle trading game items with bitcoin. There will also be an area for trading house lots. Would also be great as an app.

    I am mainly doing it to learn also, i am studying atm. (Software Developer, with a background in Website Developing), and i love frontend and backend... which is kinda confusing, since you really should pick one! :)
    I am really just trying to make an awesome website, which i can use myself (and others if they like it), and which would not require much updating data wise... but i need some proper place to get the information from before that happens... so far the best place to get information from seems to be the wiki, and i am not a fan of the way i can get the information there. Doable, but not really the way i have learned to do it.

    What we are really going to need that has not already been done is sotahead, ad database of items, NPCS, quests and etc. all with community comments. But that one is a huge long term commitment.
