For bug reporting purpose, it would help if there were a way to determine position in an instance. For example, today I encountered a copper node in an instance that couldn't be mined because the rock formation prohibits the mining animation to allow the player to move to where the node can be mined. I didn't file a bug report because I couldn't think of a way to describe the location accurately. This applies to any bug report that needs to specify a particular location in an instance.

All NPCs respond to at least the following phrases you may remember from earlier RPGs:
    • “name” / “What is your name?”
    • “job” / “What do you do?”
    • “health” / “How are you?”
    • “help” / “What can I do to help you?”
    • “bye” / “Farewell.” (This will close the conversation tab for that NPC after a few moments.)

NPCs open a chat tab specific to their conversation when you first address them. You can click on the chat tab created to automatically target that NPC to talk to them. Private messages from other players and messages from game administrators will appear in these tabs as well to ensure you do not miss them.

A list of chat ‘/’ commands and their functionality follows. To use a chat command, type in the command followed by any input required (denoted in the below list by a pair of <>) and the ‘ENTER’ key to execute it. For example, /w Lord British, Hello - will send Lord British a friendly greeting as a private message. Some of these commands are for testing purposes and may be removed later.

    • /leave - leaves your active party
    • /friend <playername> - add player to friend list
    • /unfriend <playername> - remove player from friend list
    • /block <playername> - add player to blocked list
    • /unblock <playername> - remove player from blocked list
    • /w <playername>, <text> - send a private message to a player
    • /r <text> - reply to the last private whisper you received.
    • /p <text>- switch to party chat text entry mode
    • /l <text> - switch to local chat text entry mode
    • /loc - print the player location in world coordinates
    • /loctrack - toggles location coordinates on the screen. (Great for bug report screenshots)
    • /bug <text> - copy a bug small bug report to the clipboard
    • /stuck - reset the Avatar’s position
    • /follow - follow the targeted Avatar
    • /zone <playername> - Teleport to player (if not blocked and they are not in a dungeon or adventure scene)
    • /AFK - Enter AFK mode.
    • /<emote> - the emotes from the emote list may be entered as a chat command
    • /visible hides the Avatar model from view. (useful for screenshots)
    • /home - Teleport to your home
    • /bank - Claim any items banked from changing houses or un-claiming lots.
    • /leaveguild Leaves the current guild
    • /reportplayer <playername>, <text> - report inappropriate behavior

if you hit /bug it will give you all the info, and open the bug page to post it. All you need to do is add in the bits about what you were doing and how it happened.. ect ect.. just make sure you research the bug reports to make sure its not an issue thats already been reported

I've found that researching bugs to avoid submitting a duplicate is not trivial. The search function is frequently unhelpful, and the many bug categories also complicates things. Too many places to look easily.
