Can't DL client HELP!

Trying to DL client for windows am getting a fail error from google every time. Says... http://goo.gl/mqHz2A - this goo.gl ...as found to be violating our Terms of Service. I tried it using Chrome, IE and Firefox and all the same. I pledged $65 and am trying to play but can't. This DL Boss is really hard. Id appreciate any help thanks!

I'm getting the same error sadly. Someone may have reported the link as spam. Let me see if I still have the installer stashed away somewhere.

OK patching failed said I don't have enough disk space? Can't unzip. I have more disk space than I can ever use it must be another issue?

 

Sometimes it's a pity we can't like a post more than once. Glad to see this problem worked around. And in under 10 minutes!

Just to ask a really stupid question.. but how much disk space do you actually have free?

It's been a very long time before I've seen that kind of error when space really was available.. I'm not doubting you but sadly I don't remember the cause. Possibly a permissions issue?

The error is that the Google URL shorterner is blocking the link to where the actual installer is. It says the SotA installer has violated Google's terms of service for a URL redirect. Someone may have reported them for spam, or they may have some policy against a redirect URL pointing to an executable.

You can't download the patches right now? Try clicking the options button in the launcher.

 

In the meantime you could play it on Steam. Until they fix whatever is going on with the google link shortener.

 

I was actually referring to the 'not enough disk space' error and assuming there is enough. I've had it happen to me before but not for a very long time. So I don't have a lot of ideas about what it could be.

 

I somehow missed that you're out of disc space. How much space is free on your hard drive?

If you need to free space, consider the free version of CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

 

The disk space error can occur if your HDD is formatted to FAT32 (this can't take files larger than 2 gigs). The only way to fix this by reformatting to NTFS.

If that's not the case, then the file might be going to a weird spot while it waits to unpack, so you could also try changing the download location for the installer.
