Crystal Sword

    I am sure this has been asked before but I could not find a definitive answer.

    In the pledge rewards, it says that the crystal sword is shattered after use.

    Does shattered mean
    1. destroyed, gone from game
    2. in desperate need of repair
    3. unusable as a weapon, but ok for wearing

    This is a totally OP weapon, so I already get the ridiculousness of it. I just want some clarity.

    Once broken, it's broken, but you get to keep the weapon still. In case you want to display it in your house.

    I think it is meant to be a call-back to Glass Swords in Ultima, which were one use and then unusable forever after that.

    Most crystal swords will either go unused or be on display next to the head of the person that is was used on when it broke. (very possibly mine)

    I can't wait for people to bust them out as surprises in the final rounds of key PvP tournaments and such.

    Head of the victim mounted to the hilt would be a great PvP reward if that happens.

    Hopefully there will be stats kept on who is killed the most (and first) with crystal swords.

    In fact, what I'd really like to see is a BOOK that keeps track of this magically! :)

    Except it does say it can be used on most foes, which assumes not ALL foes. I'd hate to whip it out thinking I can depend on it... and then it fails. heh
