A very very quick guide for those having troubles with r15 crafting. NOTE: prosperity tools are not working with crafting tables and you can not craft while encumbered.

First steps: Gather in kings road until you have enough points for level 5 forestry survey, skilful harvest and swift gathering.

Grind 1: Move to greymark forest and strip the zone of trees, when encumbered zone home and make boards and then wall shelves. Repeat this process until level 20 crafting, maxing all skills in the forestry and mining fields.

Grind 2: Move to deep ravenswood and continue to gather wood for wall shelves until level 30.

Top end Grind: Move to spectral mines, all ore nodes there provide 200 exp at a 67.something success rate at level 30 with maxed mining skills. This area is still quite fast exp right up at level 40+ crafting

It's fixed with recent patch and now you can use prosperity tools and craft while encumbered.

a fix? it needed a fix previously because you could get four ingots out of one bar even though both ingots and bars take the same amount of ore. that's fixed so it's 1:1. what else needs to be changed?

There was something.. bad associated with it lol, also not sure if exp for conversion is intended (it is there though).

Preventing it from granting XP, it would be trivial to script converting back and forth between the two states maxing out crafting XP, removing the point of the system.

The Graff Gem Mines have eleven metallic nodes at 200XP each, if I've remembered correctly. Ten, at least-- four copper and the balance being iron.

yes graff is pretty good also, spectral however has 10 ore nodes all right next to each other and by the time you mine them, the first has respawned. Pretty much cant get better that non-stop gathering of 200exp nodes with 0 down time. Graff may be easier to access for those who cannot clear 4 ghosts though and shardfall may be preferable for those who want to also murder people.

There are still a few formulas that have ingredients that can be bought from vendors and which can be sold for as much or more than those ingredients. I wouldn't expect them to last too much longer, but they exist for now.

One of the best ones is Bark Bread (still an exploit @devs - reported it twice) if you are handling wood you get Tree Bark on the side.
Then you go to any of the NPC bakers, buy Flour and Yeast. Then a crafters pavillion and get Chunks of salt.

    Cooking station
chunk of salt + mortar and pestle = salt
(this is one of those where the product is better than the input)

Tree bark + Yest + Flour + Salt + Cooking pot = bark bread

But you get 8 of them at value 25.

So after some wood crafting yesterday I took my 40ish Tree bark and made bark bread.
    Netted a 4000g profit.

    Plus some extra crafting XP...
