Farming for Hides

    Can someone tell me the best place to farm for hides? I am hoping to make my own leather armor, however, the bears in East Perennial Trail are scarce. I previously found this zone that isn't showing on the map but can't seem to get back to it. It was an open plains area.

    Also - is resurrection on a timer unless another person rez's you?

    At the moment, Bears, stags, wolves, and scorpions all provide the same number of hides...

    So find an area where there are a lot of low-level wolves would be my suggestion. The road scenes in the "Hidden Vale" map are pretty good for that.

    A random encounter scene ? They show up randomly as long as you are not near a named scene.

    There are "Ankh" objects on most maps you can float over to to instantly resurrect. Using the ankhs also means you are not penalized during respawn. :)

    Thank you for the information! I haven't ventured to the Hidden Vale map. I also wasn't aware that there are random encounter scenes. Do you get something for fighting in that zone?

    I get my hides in Deep Ravenswood. But this is not a good place for players on a low level. I've got a large pile of hides in my home and I don't need all of them. Let me know if you want some...

    They act like any other scene, though they are generated specifically for you alone, so you have the entire map to yourself.

    All the ones I have encountered (which I believe are all the ones that currently exist) tend to be low-level, and pay experience/resources accordingly. :)

    And yes there is a rez timer 2 minutes till you res if you don't find an ankh or someone else helps

    If you die, just look on your compass, and turn until you see the ankh, then float to it...
