Towns

Just went through all the npc towns i can see on the map that are missing from the game at the moment and there seems to be 17 !!. Unless anyone knows any different.

1 ) Greystone
2 ) Artifice
3) Xenos
4) Storms Reach
5) Goti
6) Estgard
7) Valhold
8) Mud
9) Harvest
10) Noreach
11) Eastmarch
12) Broochash
13) Spite
14) Port Graff
15) Celestis
16) Shadowmist
17) Brittany

Just wondering if they will all make it into the game at release as there seems alot to do ??

 

I would speculate yes. The reason I say this is the number of housing pledges that need to be fulfilled. Especially those at the higher levels. Many of the ones you listed will be quite big and thus capable of handling larger lot sizes (i.e. Brittany).

 

I would expect that all those towns which have player-ownable lots in them will be available for Lot Selection, starting at the end of July.

They may not be fully decked out, but the scenes will be in place.

If you mean "By the Release of Episode One", then yes, I would except them all to be there by then.

 

I would be more concerned if they can make them alive....an empty town added is not much good.

greystone was a prt replace by the pot kahli. (quite rudely, too, as it still had a resident who could only zone there.)

 

I can vouch for shadowmist being on-map, it's on Novia past ardoris and restless woods near the coast. Currently I'm the only one settled there (at least until whoever owns the town asks me to boot off)

 

No problem there, Shadowmist is a game-run town, it is not owned by a player.

 

Well that's a relief. I had assumed based on the banker and crier NPCs right at the edge of town and the general absence of anything else (including neighbors) that the town was player owned, I suppose. I suppose I'm just a frontiersman then.

 

Libris wasn't in game yet. Was on the original maps but not overworld.

 

When you enter a town scene, it normally says under the town name if it's 'governed' by someone aka player, in which case it's a PoT. If not, its most likely a PRT or NPC town.

 

Just to add to 4EverLost's comment : You must have the Compass displayed to see the name of the town. Press "M" if the compass is not visible on your screen.

 

Artifice is more of a Point of Interest story location than a town. Xenos is the actual town on Elysium.
