Royal Founder cloak, the myth.

Does the Royal Founder cloak actually exist? I recently purchased a RF pledge, and I don't seem to have one, nor do I see it under Immortal Adventurer, where it is supposedly located. Srsly, is this thing a myth?

 

There is a Founder cloak and a Benefactor cloak and a Royal Founder cloak.

I'm a RF from day 1, and I don't believe I've ever worn a RF cloak. Couldn't find it either. Never appeared in the bank. Could be an error, I assumed no one got one.

 

According to this, I should certainly have it. Maybe the fella I purchased my account from put it on another account of his since the last wipe. If that's the case, it should return to me after the next wipe, right? It throws me off because I can see the RF shield under the proper pledge tier, but not the cloak.

 

I've participated in every release. r1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27

You know what, maybe I did wear it once.... I'll have to check and actually I haven't logged in yet, so, haven't participated in 27 yet.

 

Well, I thought I was stumbling upon a great mystery and perhaps even a quest to locate to missing cloak.

 

I checked in my bank and in my gear chests.

I know they have been there before since Lux likes to wear them.

I think it is a bug.

Well I logged in and it reminded me of my SotA rares website I never uploaded to the internet. And I did catalog and get screen shots of every cloak, and while I was trying to make a custom screen shot for the RF cloak I was reminded of the fact that I've never seen it in-game, it never appeared on my account. I was forced to use a screen shot from the archives of shroudoftheavatar.com mentioning the cloak for the first or second time. But upon logging back in, still no cloak. I assumed it had been scrubbed. I hope they do make one and bring it back, it's a nice looking cloak.

 

I wish there was one!

For that matter, what happened to the Royal Founder Cutlass? I remember there used to be a placeholder for it.

 

I think it might be the Royal founder item to have too as unlike the Royal founder gear this is something you can continue to wear and display proudly as stats are not an issue.
