Is there something wrong with "reveal hidden"?

I can't seem to get the skill to gain, What's wrong?

 

Maybe like other skills with a target, it won't advance without that target to reveal? I've tried this skill once, and it didn't reveal anything, even though I was in front of a secret door. Playing in SPO mode usually, I see very little purpose for this spell, unless it actually shows hidden passages... which it did not at the time (many releases ago lol).. just a thought...

 

Been bugged for a while @SmokerKGB at least since last wipe. It does nothing. Doesnt reveal players or doors or anything.

 

Oh, thanks... I thought it was to reveal hidden players, so I camouflaged myself, then cast it on me within it's circle... I need at least 10 skill to get the Phoenix skill... I never thought about it revealing hidden doors or passages, that would be cool...

 

Erm... If i were stealthed and cast reveal hidden, i wouldn't WANT it to reveal me, just others. It may be broken, but that's not a good test.

 

It's a targeted spell, so stand outside of the circle of its influence... Pretty sure its broken, it never revealed me or gained in skill...

 

I hit this same problem yesterday. I hit reveal hidden to 10 by moving around and casting it inside a building with npcs inside the circle with me. Specifically the realtor and carpenter over the bank in the town Ardor (spelling?).

No idea if it ever revealed anything, but I did gain. I watched a few casts do nothing to move the green bar though. Just move and cast till it does.

P.S. You have to find a special trainer for Phoenix summon I believe. In town trainer does not have it. Just an fyi. I was sad when I noticed, but it makes sense.

 

The trainer is in outside part of Epitaph prison in Desolis...
