    Fill it with the undead!

Also, instead of the typical "Skeletal Footman", "Skeletal Archer", "Skeletal Mage", Lich, etc stuff...

name them all "XXXXX, the Skeletal Footman", "XXXXX, the Skeletal Archer", "XXXXX, the Lich Mage", etc...

where XXXXX is a name taken from one of the tombstones! It would be a blast! you could even add in a spawning mechanic where they actually come up out of the ground from graves and stuff. people would hunt their for hours on end! :D

there could even be an entire story behind it...how the original inhabitants are unable to find peace in the after life, yada, yada, yada.

There's enough undead in the game already. I would prefer that once the actual names are placed on the gravestones that we have an opportunity to light a candle or place flowers or treasure by a grave as a sign of respect.

That would give people more to explore, and it would take advantage of the multiple player aspects of the game.

Like the idea.... perhaps we could click on the grave to summon the undead of the backer and beat it up a little :)

Definitely prefer this idea myself. Not every area needs to be a battle ground.

This could be a cool idea for something like a special haloween event

    For Halloween event, yes!

For the rest of the year, no.. This place should be more of a "memorial" for people to stop by.

I kind of like the idea, but agree that first and foremost it should be a memorial. Maybe there could be someway to activate the area in the future, so that it leads to waves of undead attacking.

The Halloween suggestion is greal too, would be really cool if every Halloween there was some sort of event there, with a rare-type item to collect for the participants.

It could be nice if skeletons only come out at night.

It's an interesting idea... maybe in a 'run-down' section of the graveyard.. I wouldn't want to see the whole place go bad :) our ancestors are there!

Ya, i was actually thinking maybe add some instances in there and name them things like "the decrepit crypt" or whatnot. This way we can maintain the "memorial" feel of the graveyard but still add the fun of slaying the old inhabitants. this would also be like an added "perk" for those who pledged ancestor.

Liking this idea. But recalling the dialog about the quality (or not) of some player owned lot decorations, what would prevent it from becoming a junk yard?

I like the idea as well. To keep it from being a junkyard these offerings/signs of respect would be pre-determined. Each grave would have an unlit candle, an empty offering bowl, and an empty vase. Players can then double click these to turn on the candle, add an offering, or to add flowers to the vase. The player would have to have the offering or flowers in their inventory. There could also be a offering/flower vendor(s) at the entrances to the scene.

Going to your specific ancestors grave and leaving flowers, an offering, or lighting a candle could also add a very minor buff .
