    I have a lot of Rusty stuff from lot and wanted to know what I can use these for (Trait Skill Wise).

    Salvage them on a smithing table or sell for gold I guess ;)

    You can either sell them to NPC's or you can salvage them to make scrap, used to craft items with less raw materials.

    Thanks... didnt know which was the best profitably way... trying to make the most gold I can as I am just starting and need some coin.
    Didnt know if scrapping them into ingots fetched more money , etc.

    Because of the cost of fuel, I would turn scrap and ore to ingots only to increase crafting skill. Your estimated value in inventory does not reflect merchant devaluation.

    Selling to an npc would be your best bet for making money. Also, when selling to npc's note that each vendor will pay different prices depending on the local economy. Also, if you can find a spot to fight monsters that drop bows, those typically are a better weight/gold ratio.
