Shutters on Row Homes

    Is there a reason the shutters on row homes default to 'closed'? Just curious because it makes everything look boarded up instead of lived in. Also, to me, the homes are dark enough without the shutters always being closed, and it's a pain to have to open them each time I return to the scene.

    the boring reason is that it takes less rendering if windows don't show what is on the other side.

    Although I like the fact the windows "work" I agree it was much nicer when everything defaulted to open.

    Lamplighter Jack's other job is to close shutters. He's a busy man :)

    I agree they should default to open.

    I figured it was something like that. But really, it looks like everybody boarded up and moved away. :(

    The stone row houses didn't even have shutters until R31. There's a number if items that I wish would persist their state, like lanterns, candles, shutters, etc.
