Water Village Houses

Hi all,

I have a question. Is the one water house that I got with my pledge the only available water village home? Because I'm kind of disappointed in how it looks.

the only water homes (so far) are the ones from pledges. maybe you could trade with someone who has one you like better.

 

I wish that you could use the regular homes on the water lots too. They just need to add a dock underneath. Oh well, hopefully some day I'll be able to have a house I like.

 

Yes for village water lot, you only have that one choice. You have zero choice of changing. As far as I know anyway.

Oh dang I completely missed the Edelmann and knight village ones then. Oh well. Light house is out. Between Citizen and Edelmann.. Little bit bigger inside versus little bit bigger pier. That would have been a tough choice. Oh well.

 

I'm at the Citizen level though, so only have access to the one. And honestly, it's rather disappointing. I'm happy to have a village water lot, because I got a pretty good view, but I feel like choosing a good view means you get cheated on the actual house. And considering you can still put a basement on a house that's on the water I feel like it's not much of a stretch to make other house styles available on the water.

 

I can trade you one of the other houses for something... PM me.

 

On a related subject, if I were to upgrade my Citizen pledge to, I don't know, Knight Marshal for instance, would the deed that I've already used be upgraded? Or would I end up with a second deed? My guess is the first option, but option #2 would make the idea more worthwhile to me.

 

If you upgraded, you would have a single deed, the larger one. And that deed would allow you to get the City or smaller lot. And the houses, and basements, have been retired, so you would not have those either. Now, you can place any house you currently have, on your larger plot, but if you wanted a larger house you would need to grab that separate (either single house, or part of a bundle) as well as larger basement, if you want.
