unable to loot grey wolf corpse in blood river

1. Title: unable to loot grey wolf corpse in blood river
2. Reproduction Rate:easy to reproduce. return to blood river after advancing. each grey wolf can not be looted, but other corpses can be looted.
3. Blocker?it's vary annoying, but i'm playing anyway. but i know this is an early release and expect such things, but it would be a big disruption in the game.
4. Details:i have returned to blood river well after advancing into other places and levels.
5. Steps to Reproduce:take a character back to blood river that has advanced in skills
6. User Specs:win 10, i7, 16 gigs ram, gtx 760 with 4 gigs of ram
7. EDIT just discovered i can't loot rabbits either. or the dears either. it seems i can only loot the humanoids like the zombie or skeletons, or bandits.

 

Do you have a Skinning Knife equipped? Many animals/creatures are skinnable with Field Dressing, but require a skinning knife to be equipped for it to work.

 

well i'm embarrassed now.
i had one equipped, but it was out of durability.
