Controls, how to map to keyboard not joustick

Hello, I have a thrustmaster hotas for other games and Shroud sees it and will not let me map my keyboard keys, it wants to use the joystick for everythging !!
short of unplugging them what to do ?
is there a config file I can edit to tell SOA to ignore the stick and throttle ?

 

I found something in the install folder called ChromaAppInfo.xml where it has your keyboard get recognised by game - looks like a binary (mine is set to 1).

Code:

  <device_supported keyboard="1" mouse="1" headset="1" mousepad="1" keypad="1"/>

Check there to see if you can manually set your keyboard to 1 to be recognised by game.

Bear in mind this might be a general setting about recognising devices and nothing to do with my exact keyboard.

Couldn't find anything else though that covers what you're asking.

If all else fails unplug the thing, or disable it through device manager (easier to unplug though).
