Where To Next ?

There's definitely a huge gap. Easier to find good 'pack' hunting grounds as a solo. Deep Ravenwood has pretty big pulls (and plenty in range to make bigger)

Feel the same way. Either yellows or reds, not much in between. Same goes for control points

 

Chilllblain's Compendium of Pain and Suffering is not Solo. It's a single party instance so you can have up to 8. The entry point is at the graveyard in Braemar. Click on the little book by the crypt to enter. I'll bet you two mugs of ale that the 2 of you can not beat room full of Lich's. Good luck.

Another challenge would be to defeat the dragon inside of The Rise.

And another would be the Ghost Corpion in Wyrmsand's.

 

I have been spending a good bit of time underground as of recent. There is a lot of fun places to explore down there with a larger variety of foes. In addition to that, I have to say some of the PvP areas are quite spectacular. Despite all the fussing over PvP, they are mostly empty of players.

 

This is exactly what i was after. Will try both tommorow. And if/when we clear that room full of lich, i will SS for you


PVP areas i swing in every time i run by. Few kills here, few deaths there. The mobs are completly unexcitting tho, and the golems are low yellow/green so more annoying then anything.
Doing them for the obsid chips, but need the other people i play with to catchp so we can do forge =)

 

If the 2 of you clear that room, come back and tell the rest of us what you 2 used to do it.....

Try the Sewers of Brittany. At the start it's relatively easy, tho. Don't be fooled by that and venture on.

Or the Crypt of Avatar - especially the last three rooms.

Or The Rise.

 

Umuri's SOTA Hud reads out your log file and presents it in a nice UI. To get your stats included, type /stats in game in the chat window. Then your stats will be written to the log file and the app can read it.

There is definitely a lack of good high end content.

I'm over al75 now and I'm still doing the very green undead in deep ravenswood because it's the only thing I've found that can be done reliably that has both decent xp and loot. I can kill trolls but they have too long of a spawn time to be useful. And their loot isn't worth much gold.

I only play solo, have no interest in group content (that's a personal choice, not everyone has to agree). The rise? Nope.nope I know of someone who can do it but is set up specifically for it.(I'm trying to take notes).
Same for chillbains.

Any place with groups of ranged mobs will destroy me, still sadly I discovered including right outside the etceter mine.

Brittany sewers epitomized the balance issue. One room 400hp cultists or slimes. Not even a challenge go through the door and it's 1000 hp skeletons that hit for over 50 a shot all ranged and there at least 3 of them. I didn't manage to get 1. (And it's a long way back to the ankh).

Our health/mitigation doesn't keep up with the mobs ability to do damage as you level. Neither do the healing spells. Ranged mobs, especially archers are op compared to their melee equivalents.

The easiest one is from Brittany Alleys (my city!): you can't miss it if you stand on the long pier of the beach, and look west.

 

I believe Chilbain's been solo'd and there is a video somewhere too on forums

 

I have soloed everything in the game except the 3 dragons in pvp zone

 

What adventurer level are you?

 

two 15k golems in the Rise maybe but they are fire immune

 

Before last wipe, I had hit Adv 83 and the yellow cultist in sequenna colosus still gave me most excellent experience. Im currently lvl 73 and Im still farming the heck out of it easily. I got 250K exp in the areas in about 1.5 hours the other day including trips to sell stuff.
