Player House Vendor help

Sorry if this has been answered. I searched this area of the forum to no avail.

I'm interested in having a vendor on my tax free row lot. I have no clue how to hire one, even if I need to pay him some upkeep. Is this possible in game? Is it add-on store or huge pledge only?

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Side note: I got the Elven tax free row lot bundle, but the dresser that came with it doesn't appear to act like a container (like a chest or something). I can't seem to store items in it as I expected since I placed it.

Vendors can be purchased for 20k from either decoration or housing merchants (one of those guys hanging around the bank). They charge fees (though I am not sure how it is gathered, per transaction or monthly). The fee- free ones can be purchased from players in the marketplace individually or you can get them in bundles that come with a village deed or above.

I would make a bug report for this.

 

The dresser is not a container. You can purchase a vendor I think, at a NPC above the bank. That one will charge a percentage, it is not the free one that came with pledges.
