Is multiboxing allowed?

    Why is it that PvP wants there to be no rules, full world, open PvP where everyone is free to attack and be attacked for any reason or no reason at all, yet they're the ones constantly asking for new rules and accommodations? Now, disallow multiboxing for PvP... because it will ruin many people's gaming experience... yet ganking a miner in the woods isn't ruining anyone's gaming experience.

    Ganking someone ist just mean and ok in pvp... But multi boxing is more like cheating cuz you can do something what a singel account player is never able to.

    Not the point... but I didn't expect you'd understand. You haven't understood for the last 19 years and 3 days, so I'd no expectation that things would change now.

    I have to point out that I expect in the US (where port is) making multi boxing against TOS would run afoul of the law. If I buy two accounts and have two computers I can use them any way I want that doesn't violate individual TOS. Who's to say I don't have someone sitting at the box? Is that legal? Yes. What if I pay them? Yup. You can't outlaw multiboxing and sell multiple accounts to the same person. And with what the OP intends, it shouldn't even be a question.

    Absolute nonsense.

    If you multibox in PvP the alts tend to die very quickly (why PvPers dont really tend to do it unless they use a char for scouting)......from a PvP experience that enhances mine

    Seems the best reasons for mutiboxing are:

    Hauling resources

    Acting as a teleport location

    Gathering opposite of your main accounts green gather bar.

    Multiboxing how I know it: Several Characters with same range in attack on the same point move and act simultaniously so they do X Times Damage while being played by one Player. Also, Targeting and killing those stacks of chars is also stupidly hard if you don't have full AoE attacks, because you hit only one of them. This behavior just sucks and is cheating in PvP.

    That behavior in any situation is cheating and against the rules already. It's not the fact they're using multiple accounts it's the automated part. Using extra accounts that your controlling by hand shouldn't be an issue.

    Wait... huh? A game company can change their rules at any time. If they want to make multiboxing illegal and you own 2 accounts well thats tough luck for you. You MUST be an idiot if you think that is against the law.

    Yes, this is allowed. If you can eat toes and hearts at the same time, you can play two toons (or 3 or 4) while whistling two tunes.
