Toggling autoattack

Currently as you know, entering combat (from peace deck to a combat deck) sets autoattack off. Could we get a toggle perhaps in UI to change that behavior? Still use T to toggle that back and forth, but allow people to enter combat with autoattack on, if that fits their play style.

 

I enter combat with the default Z key and it doesn't do that for me.
I still have to hit the T key to begin autoattack.

 

I totally forgot that was a thing, remembered it again the other day and boy did it make melee combat so much easier. But it really needs to have an option to toggle on when i go into combat, or draw my weapon with Z.

 

I've mapped ZT onto a mouse button and find it works ok.
It arms me and puts me into autoattack all at once.... But then, I'm swords melee so it's perfect for us - maybe not so much for archers.

 

If the auto attack toggle key drew your weapon for you if you were out of combat, then you could have a one key option for auto attacking but still be able to enter combat mode without auto attacking if you wanted.

 

Yea this would be a nice quality of life fix.

 

Yes please. Is there a reason why this happens at all?
