Mouseover on recipe should show owned ones in a different color.

Where it says "You already own this recipe" should perhaps be in green to really stand out so you dont buy a duplicate recipe.

Just a thought.

 

I agree, but I'd go with red text instead just because it stands out even more, and it's usually the color to stop you from doing something bad.

 

Red is already used for saying "you dont have the skill required"

Green highlighting you already know it would be great!

Edit: forgetting some facts. A few of us asked for it to say "you already know this".

 

3 colors then. 1 for you own this, 1 for you dont own this, and another for you dont own this and dont have the requisite skill.

 

The only thing missing is that the message saying you already know this recipe does not stand out (green)

 

I'd think Yellow or Orange better. Green Means Go! Green should be the color for met pre-requisites, so go ahead and buy it. Green is a BAD warning color due to years and years of use in other games. It's basically a standard that all green means go ahead.

 

What's the problem with using red for more than one piece of information? They both mean the same thing: Check before you actually buy this!

 

I favor red for both over green for a warning. But Orange could be a secondary warning color.

 

Whatever stands out and is not white. I dont actually care about the color. Hopefully this gets some sort of fix!

 

Just grey out the known recipies in vendor inventory. Case closed
